Walking District Six will call the interest of audiences from multiple spheres who are interested in history of Apartheid, Cape Town in particular: Academia, general public, educators, and students. This virtual space will keep the museum still active when the physical space is closed and not accessible, so people who are intended to visit the museum can still do that via this facility. Last but not least, the displaced community of District Six and the new generations will be able to engage and re-engage with the stories, spaces, and identities buried in their collective memory.
